Collaboration with HINN

 

The Roy Bhaskar Centre works in collaboration with other organisations. Currently, our main collaboration is with Norway Inland University of Applied Sciences (HINN), based in Lillehammer, Norway. Bhaskar's philosophy has always been well-received in the Scandinavian countries. He visited Lillehammer several times and worked with several members of the staff at HINN. He was Adjunct Professor in philosophy at the Centre for Peace Studies at the University of Tromsø, Norway, and Guest Professor in philosophy and social science, Department of Caring Sciences, Örebro University, Sweden. Many Nordic researchers and scientists have shown an interest in his philosophy, and he worked with the Nordic ecophilosophers, themselves associated with the work of Arne Naess, to edit and contribute to the book  Ecophilosophy in a World of Crisis: Critical realism and the Nordic Contributions.
